KONALA

Pavan Konala is a filmmaker from the coastal city of Visakhapatnam and holds a Master’s degree in Film and Video Communication from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. His documentary Tarapo, about a fisherman who saved over a hundred people from drowning in the Sabarmati River, won Best Director, Best Editor, and Best Cinematographer at the Darbhanga International Festival, and was featured at several national and international festivals, including PIFF (Pakistan) and Bali.

He also worked as an Associate on the Telugu feature film Raja Raja Chora.
